Who is Rubén Sánchez Monleón?
Born in Barcelona, Rubén studied Translation and Interpreting at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in his hometown and furthered his education in Modern Languages and Translation Studies at the University of Salford, Manchester (UK).
From technological giants to international diplomacy organisations, from top brands and major football clubs to members of the Spanish Royal Family and Grammy-award-winning superstars and anything in between, Rubén has over 15 years of experience as professional interpreter at international conferences and summits from London to Nairobi, New York to Singapore ranging from 50 to literally 50,000 attendees. Furthermore, Rubén has ample expertise as global manager for LSPs located in different continents and shares his know-how with his international clients and partners as interpreting coach, language solutions consultant and international speaker.
In addition to his passion for languages, translation and interpreting, Rubén also loves sports, traveling, foreign cultures & cuisines, cooking, photography, literature and the sea.

Where is Rubén located?
After studying, working and living in different countries in Europe for most of his life, in 2024 Rubén and his wife left Europe behind and moved to Indonesia, where he is based now with Singapore as his new hub in the APAC region. The UK is Rubén’s 2nd base in Europe.
Although he lives in Indonesia, Rubén works with and consults for international companies and global organisations all over the world in any given region and time zone.
